I live in Massachusetts. With a Plainedge High School 2002 Alumni Directory, a reunion could be planned using phone numbers, addresses, and e-mail addresses. With enough responses, this could happen in the fall between Columbus Day and Thanksgiving. Let me know if your interested.
I was wondering the same thing. I haven't been in the area for a while or to any reunions, but I would think that something like a reception/dinner wouldn't be too hard to do somewhere near the school. If enough people were to express an interest here, I would think it could happen. Is there anyone who helped plan a past reunion who has advice? Any former class officers up for it? How many people attended in the past? It would require an advance deposit and some people in the area to get involved, at least. I would think that lining up a DJ would be fairly routine, and that starting 'small' might be best. One way to go would be to have a plated meal with two choices if the numbers are small, or graduate (no pun intended) to a buffet if the numbers grow. Cash bar would be possible but would require a minimum $$ sales. If the facility has an existing bar, that could be used if numbers for a reunion are small. Flexibillity would be the key.
